57 cases imported
velvety textures and ocean of licorice
the wine has quite an earthy nose of fertile loam
solidly structured flavors with very good if not exceptional length
Francois Bertheau, Bonnes Mares other_regions 57 cases imported(from a . 34 ha parcel located in 100% terres rouges). A background hint of wood easily allows the cool and equally pure essence of red currant, plum and violet scents to be appreciated. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the tautly muscular flavors that are also shaped by relatively fine grained tannins on the balanced and lingering finale. This is a Bonnes Mares of refinement and finesse that should age well on a base of balance.
