Rene Lequin-Colin 1er Cru Le Comme Santenay Rouge 21 Cerasuolo TASTING NOTES- Spice with pepperyThis site is located on the east side of Santenay, near the edge of Chassagne Montrachet. There is more clay on the west side of the commune and more oolite limestone here. Clay soils give pinot noir a bigger profile with more fruit and opulence; the limestone in La Comme gives more finesse and structure. Lequin's vines in La Comme are over 45 years old, further improving upon the structure of the wine each year. Similar to his other reds, Franois
