Henri Germain, Meursault Blanc other_regions_italy The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape

The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Deus ex Machina is a stunner in the vintage

Clear concentration

This is also quite spicy if perhaps not quite as elegant as that of the Brûlées though there is just as much depth

with oak and fruit in superb balance

Henri Germain, Meursault Blanc other_regions_italy The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape(from 6 lieux dits, including Vireuils, Peutes Vignes, Moulin Judas, Clos du Cromin, Dressoles and Les Pellans). A very pretty nose offers up notes of essence of pear, hazelnut and a whiff of citrus peel. Succulent, round and plump medium bodied flavors possess plenty of sappy dry extract that helps to buffer the moderately firm acidity shaping the balanced finish that flashes excellent depth and persistence for a villages level wine.
