Jean-Claude Bessin, Chablis Fourchaume Piece Comte Vintage:2014 This is really quite pretty

This is really quite pretty and offers fine quality though I wouldn’t describe it as a typical example

A wonderfully pliant 2002 with noteworthy density and richness

I believe this was made a good five years before the Moueixes took over the château next to Ausone previously known as Bélair

with some lingering sweetness on the close

Jean-Claude Bessin, Chablis Fourchaume Piece Comte Vintage:2014 This is really quite pretty(this is essentially an old vines Fourchaume). Subtle but not invisible wood sets off a similar aromatic profile. There is however noticeably better density to the beautifully textured medium weight flavors that display excellent length on the balanced, clean, dry and youthfully austere finale. This is excellent and well worth exploring.
