El Mero Mero Espadin Mezcal 16 year dusty earth and sweet tobaccoEl Mero Mero Espadin is made with agave Espadin in the town of San Dionisio Ocotopec, Oaxaca. Very little rainfall keeps agave growing low to the ground in this region. Just like grapes, this stresses the plants, forcing them to create more sugar, which can come through in the flavor.
