I really lost my shit when I first heard this
O'Jays and Klein & MBO
" "Deez Nuuuts"
music label: P&P Records / Serato Pressings / 2012
New York Edits: NYE 2 12" Daptone I really lost my shitNumber 2 from the mysterious and in demand New York Edits series! The first volume flew off the shelves (no repress insight) and you can bet this one will follow suit. NYE 1 had a cosmic edge to the selections, but this one goes the funkier route to get the dancefloor shakin'. Fatback vibes all over track #1 with it's funky guitar and chuggy bass, while track #2 goes deeper with soulful vocals to heat up the dancefloor proper. Super limited hand
