This is more overtly sauvage with an intensely earthy character that includes very fresh red currant
the flavors are bright and floral
Best from 2022 through 2033
The 2004 Larcis Ducasse is surprisingly deep in colour
Marquis d'Angerville, Volnay Angles Size:12x750ml This is more overtly sauvage(from a . 53 ha parcel; 2008 was the first vintage where it was declared separately). A deft touch of wood sets off scents of violets as well as essence of red berry fruit that merges into seductively textured, rich and mouth coating flavors that evidence a subtle mineral streak on the velvety and sappy finish. I like the balance as well as the well integrated structure that should enable this to offer 7 to 9 years of improvement. (90 92) 2017+
