This is certainly Gevrey in character but thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins it avoids any sense of rusticity

The smooth texture is wondrous

Croix, Beaune Rouge other_regions to my knowledge this is(from La Blanchisserie, Blanche Fleur and Pointes de Tuvilains). There is a touch of herbal tea character to the fresh essence of red currant that reflects plenty of floral influences and in particular rose petal. There is a bit more volume to the delicious medium weight flavors that flash a hint of minerality on the more complex but not more persistent finish as there is just a hint of edginess. The edginess may dissipate with a year or two of bottle
