wild strawberry and clove scents
Aromas of dried herbs
Lovely stuff fashioned in an understated style
mainly thanks to the larger contribution of Sémillon at one-third of the blend
Niepoort, Vintage Size:3x1.5L wild strawberry and clove scentsRuby purple, a bit more saturated than the Secundum. Brooding aromas of crushed black fruits, licorice and spices. Very ripe, thick and dense, with compelling sweetness of fruit. Bright, integrated acids give this very lush, fleshy, palate coating wine excellent tensile strength. Finishes impressively long and bright, with finely grained, mouthdusting tannins. This has a terrific kernel of fruit and a three dimensional palate feel. Stephen Tanzer
