Elyse Rutherford Zinfandel Morisoli Vineyard 2015 SPS21 according to a traditional recipeFrom one of Napa's most storied old vine vineyardsplanted in the 1880s on the Rutherford Bench and surrounded by legendary neighborsthis Zinfandel captures the historic Morisoli site's concentrated, expressive character. The 2015 blend, 87% Zinfandel with smaller portions of Alicante Bouschet, Carignane, and other field varieties, delivers brown sugar and baked blackberry aromatics alongside plum, with acidity woven through for balance and contrast.
