This is a very nice example of a genuine early WWII Issue U. S. Army M1 Helmet, with a white "Follow Me" Lt. Stripe on the back of the helmet shell. There is also the stripe in white paint for a 1st Lt. Rank on the front of both the shell and the liner. The U. S. WWII M 1 helmet was only produced from 1941 to 1945.
