This is a very nice WWII German National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei NSDAP) First Pattern Flag Pole Finial or Topper (Fahnenstange Endstck) Eagle. It is constructed of nickel plated alloy of some type, possibly bronze, and is the early multi part design. It still has the socket fitting to attach it to the pole, as well as the threaded attachment rod on the bottom of
