This is a very nice hunting knife circa 1900, most likely originating from Germany. It is fitted with a German silver cross guard with boars head finials, typical of hunting knives from the area. The hilt is formed from a single deer's antler, fitted to an unmarked bright bowie blade measuring about 7 1 2" in length. The knife's overall length is 14 1 4, or 15" in its scabbard.
