This is a very nice example of an original WWI German M16 Helmet shell, maker marked Q66. The original feldgrau paint is still well retained inside the shell, with about 75% still present on the exterior, with the expected wear. It does not look to have been repainted at any time. This example has a capture tag that was once attached to the back skirt of the helmet, but has since fallen off and is still with the
