so it an require a rubber mallet to remove it once attached

The underside of the helmet shows two spots for the attachment of a chinstrap which is now gone

S. on front and marked on the reverse: BOYT 42 Under the front flap is the serial number O 1285867 and the name Witmeyer. This example retains a charting board on the interior.
