Only One Available. This is a very scarce captured Spanish cockade off of an officers hat, taken by an American soldier during the Spanish American War. The cockade measures 2 1 8 x 2 1 4 and features an outstanding sterling or sterling plated Engineer button by a Madrid, Spain maker mark on the back. These cockades were coveted by Americans as war souvenirs and were often taken by American officers. Captured items from the Spanish
