This particular uniform set comes from the period of 1902 showing King's Crown buttons and can be identified to having belonged to one of the following five candidates of that time who held the office:

It was made for a Japanese officer before WWII but is nicely signed by the blade maker. The blade is in nearly perfect condition with only a few very minor specs, it is still sharp and nick free. Blade length is 26. 5 and overall length 35. 75. Handmade blade, with one mounting hole in the squared off tang. Multiple temper lines visible. Nice brass tsuba (cross guard) with gold
