This is a lovely personal photo album that belonged to a young Japanese sailor during the Second World War. Many of the photos show members of the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy, often in the field. There are also a good number of company and platoon photographs. These are held in place for the most part by glue and the corner tabs, and while a total of seventy two photographs may seem like a small amount for an album,
