We suspect that this could be a Spanish or even German late 18th century hunting bayonet used when hunting for wild boar. It could, however, be earlier and perhaps even English. A nine inch double sided blade, now clean, but showing several areas of old pitting, tapered wood shaft hilt mounted in a silvered white metal, probably German silver with original silver mounted black leather scabbard and belt loop
