This is a very nice example of a rare German WWII NSFK Service Kepi, often called a "Coffee Can Hat." These were worn by NSFK members when in uniform, such as at meetings and recruiting events. It is made of Fliegerblau (Flyer's Blue) wool woven fabric, with a faux scalloped skirt, and very nice Goldgelb (gold yellow) piping around the crown and scallop.
