Pickaway County, Ohio Flags State Flags the Board of Preble CountyThe Pickaway County flag was designed by senior citizen Jim Sargent in February 2002 as part of the Bicentennial Celebration. It is the result of a contest open to all residents of the county. Sargent chose the colors gold, orange and green to represent the fall season which is important because of the Circleville Pumpkin Show. A gold circle refers to the name of the county seat, Circleville. The county appears as an orange shape on the white outline
