The famous LKpN101 Netzkopfhaube (Mesh Hood) net top helmet proved very popular with Luftwaffe pilots, as it was designed for comfort and without the restriction of a chinstrap. This classic mesh flying helmet which has become synonymous with Luftwaffe fighter pilots in WWII. This example does have some faded maker stamps on the interior rear, but they are unfortunately illegible. The size tag is is marked 58 (7 1 4
