This is a rare Victorian era British Cocked Fore and Aft hat. It is finely decorated with silver and gilt bullion wire thread acorn and oak leaf pattern ribbon to the front with a fine silver Queens Crown Victorian button. Each end has gilt wire tassel with maroon wool base. The interior features a wide leather sweatband in excellent condition, white silk pleated lining that appears to have been repaired with glue in
